Draper Dental Implants
A missing tooth can negatively impact your image and self-confidence. Fortunately, dental implants replace missing teeth — and restore smiles — seamlessly and beautifully. At Angel’s Smile Dental Care, we provide aesthetic porcelain restorations and perform implant surgery here in our office.
Quality Dental Implants
A dental implant consists of three parts: an embedded fixture, an abutment, and a crown. The fixture, implanted into the jawbone through a surgical procedure, acts as an artificial tooth root to support the crown. The abutment connects to the fixture and holds the crown in place. Abutments and fixtures are typically made of titanium, though patients seeking completely metal-free restorations may request zirconia alternatives. Our crowns are made of beautiful porcelain and designed to blend in perfectly with the rest of your smile. They are custom-crafted by a master ceramist so that they possess the same visual properties — such as light reflectivity, translucency, and slight color variations — as natural teeth. That way, no one will ever have to know that your tooth was replaced!
Our Process
Comprehensive Exam

The first step toward your restored smile will be a comprehensive oral exam, including a review of your medical history to make sure that dental implants are appropriate for you. At this appointment, we’ll also take x-rays and a CBCT scan. The CBCT scan gives us a critical 3D view of your mouth, jaw, and nasal cavities. This information guides us in determining the safe and proper placement of each implant by allowing us to avoid interfering with nerves or sinus cavities.
Surgery
The next step will be your implant surgery. At this time, each implant will be surgically placed precisely in its pre-determined location.
Osseointegration & Restoration
After surgery, your embedded fixture will begin to fuse with the surrounding bone, a process known as osseointegration. A few months later, this process will be complete, and we’ll call you back into our office to attach your permanent crown. You’ll go home with a beautifully restored smile!
How Long Do Dental Implants Last?
Our dental implants are quality, long-lasting restorations. With proper care, your embedded fixture could last a lifetime. Your porcelain crown can also last many years, if it is done well and you take good care of it.
Implant-Supported Dentures
If you’re missing all your teeth and need dentures, dental implants are an excellent way to support the dentures. They feel so comfortable that patients receiving this procedure say that they feel as if they had their natural teeth back. To read more, see our page about implant-retained dentures.
