What Can I Expect On My First Visit?

Welcome!

We’re so glad to have you for your first visit at Angel’s Smile Dental Care. Here’s a look at what to expect during your appointment.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, our receptionist will greet you and check you in. You’ll be given some new patient paperwork to fill out while you wait in our reception area. If you’re here for your child’s first visit, you’ll find a toy corner where he or she can play until the appointment.

During Your Visit

When it is time for your appointment, we’ll lead you to your exam room. We’ll begin by taking x-rays and scans of your teeth. You will end up seeing both Dr. Bailey and our hygienist. Dr. Bailey will do a comprehensive examination and will go over any treatment she feels that you may need. Our hygienist, besides giving you a thorough professional cleaning, will do some periodontal probing to screen you for gum disease. Altogether, your full exam and cleaning should take about an hour and a half.
